V Belfastu se proti sobě poprvé postaví 8 národních výběrů, které budou bojovat o historicky první globální trofej tohoto sportu: USA, Kanada, Velká Británie, Švédsko, Finsko, Švýcarsko, Německo a Rakousko.

Reprezentační výběry vedou jako hlavní trenéři držitelé Stanley Cupu a členové Hokejové síně slávy (např. Ray Bourque, Guy Carbonneau, Grant Fuhr, John LeClair či Joe Mullen). Domácí výběr Velké Británie pak povede charismatický trenér místních Belfast Giants Adam Keefe.

Watch the premiere 3ICE World Cup from Belfast
The best of modern hockey in one compact package for the first time on the international stage. Sports station Sport1 will bring exclusive live broadcasts from the premiere edition of the 3ICE World Cup on the upcoming weekend of July 4 and 5, 2026, starting at 8 p.m. This unique tournament in the three-on-three format (3-on-3) will take place in the packed SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and promises a hockey show at maximum pace.
A format that knows no boredom, or “Always in overtime”
The 3ICE concept, which has gained immense popularity in North America, is changing the established hockey order. Only three players on each side face each other on the ice, which guarantees incredible speed, a huge number of shooting opportunities, breaks and technical finesse. No delays, minimal interruptions – in short, pure adrenaline from the first to the last second.
In Belfast, 8 national teams will face each other for the first time, competing for the first ever global trophy of this sport: USA, Canada, Great Britain, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, Germany and Austria.
The teams are composed of elite hockey players with draft history, experience from the NHL, AHL or leading European competitions, which guarantees the highest possible sporting quality.
Star names on the benches and on the ice
In addition to the fierce youth and speed on the ice, the 3ICE World Cup also attracts legendary figures in world hockey. The national teams are led by Stanley Cup holders and members of the Hockey Hall of Fame (e.g. Ray Bourque, Guy Carbonneau, Grant Fuhr, John LeClair or Joe Mullen). The home team of Great Britain will be led by the charismatic coach of the local Belfast Giants, Adam Keefe.
