World of Hunting and Nature Exhibition in Budapest in 2021

The first national hunting exhibition in Hungary was held in 1871 and was primarily a specialist forum for hunters. To mark the 100th anniversary of that event, the World Hunting Expo was held in Budapest in 1971.
Day 1
Arrival to Budapest Liszt Ferenc Airport, transfer to the hotel, check in, dinner at a local restaurant
Day 2
Morning: City tour in Budapest by coach, passing by the most famous sights in city, such as the Parliament, Market hall, Matthias Church, Fisherman Bastion, St. Stephens Cathedral
Afternoon: free
Evening: Dinner at a local restaurant and tasting a game menu with wines
Day 3
Full day visit of the World Hunting and Nature Exhibition at the Hungexpo exhibition center
One of the most important goals of the Exhibition is, by raising awareness across society, for there to be an increase in the conservation and love of nature in Hungary, and in the importance of the idea of rational, sober and prudent civilisational development.
Evening: free
Day 4
Morning: drive to Hatvan (60 km east from Budapest) and visit of the Zsigmond Széchenyi Carpathian Basin Hunting Museum, where local specialists are presenting, for instance, the historical and cultural aspects of hunting, the development of net fishing and angling, the Carpathian Basin’s characteristic habitats and game species.
Afternoon: Visit of the Grassalkovich Palace in Gödöllő, which is one of Hungary’s largest baroque buildings, which dates back to the 18th century and was the centre of the former royal hunting grounds.
Evening: farewell dinner at a local restaurant
Day 5
Transfer to the airport, departure
