Změna ve velení 9. pěšího pluku v Trani

Slavnostní výměna velitele 9. pěšího pluku mezi plukovníkem Lucou Carbonettim, převádějícím velitelem, a plukovníkem Mattiou Sciroccem, nastupujícím velitelem, se uskutečnila 5. října večer na náměstí Piazza Duomo v Trani.
Ceremoniálu se zúčastnil brigádní generál Paolo Sandri, velitel mechanizované brigády „Pinerolo“ a nejvyšší civilní, vojenské a náboženské orgány, jakož i svazy bojujících a ozbrojených sil.
Během ceremonie bylo také připomenuto 108. výročí bitvy u Monte San Michele, událost charakterizovaná odvahou k extrémní oběti „bílých střelců“, která vedla k udělení Zlaté medaile za vojenskou statečnost války. Vlajka 9. pěšího pluku. Během období velení plukovníka Carbonettiho se pluk zabýval různými výcvikovými a operačními činnostmi na území státu i v zahraničí.
Plukovník Mattia Scirocco se ode dneška stává strážcem válečné vlajky 9. pěšího pluku, vyznamenán 1 rytířským křížem vojenského řádu Itálie, 1 rytířským vyznamenáním vojenského řádu Itálie, 2 zlatými medailemi za vojenskou statečnost, 1 stříbrnou medailí za vojenskou statečnost, 1 bronzovou medaili za vojenskou statečnost, 1 stříbrnou medaili za zásluhy.
Na závěr předal plukovník Svetozár Plesník, prezident Asociace vzpomínek na památku padlých z Milovic (A.R.Mi), Pamětní kříž Dott. Michele Dammicco C. Ammiraglio (c.a.) , zasloužilému členu UNUCI, který se věnuje památce padlých a udržování spolupráce mezi Italii a Českou republikou.
Change in command of the 9th Infantry Regiment

The ceremonial change of command of the 9th Infantry Regiment between Colonel Luca Carbonetti, the transferring commander, and Colonel Mattia Scirocco, the incoming commander, took place on the evening of October 5 in Piazza Duomo in Trani.
The ceremony was attended by Brigadier General Paolo Sandri, Commander of the „Pinerolo“ mechanized brigade, and the highest civil, military and religious authorities, as well as unions of the combatant and armed forces.
The ceremony also commemorated the 108th anniversary of the Battle of Monte San Michele, an event characterized by the courage to extreme sacrifice of the „White Riflemen“, which led to the awarding of the Gold Medal for military bravery of the war. Colonel Mattia Scirocco becomes the war flag bearer of the 9th Infantry Regiment from today, awarded 1 Knight’s Cross of the Military Order of Italy, 1 Knight’s Order of the Military Order of Italy, 2 Gold Medals for Military Valor, 1 Silver Medal for Military Valor, 1 Bronze Medal for Military Valor , 1 silver medal of merit.
At the end, Colonel Svetozár Plesník, president of the Association of Remembrance of the Fallen from Milovice (A.R.Mi), presented the Memorial Cross to Dott. Michele Dammicco C. Ammiraglio (c.a.) , a distinguished member of UNUCI, dedicated to the memory of the fallen and maintaining cooperation between Italy and the Czech Republic.
Cambio al comando del 9° Reggimento di Fanteria

Si è svolto la sera del 5 ottobre in Piazza Duomo a Trani il cerimoniale del cambio di comando del 9° Reggimento Fanteria tra il colonnello Luca Carbonetti, comandante trasferente, e il colonnello Mattia Scirocco, comandante subentrante.
Alla cerimonia erano presenti il Generale di Brigata Paolo Sandri, Comandante della Brigata meccanizzata “Pinerolo”, e le massime autorità civili, militari e religiose, nonché i sindacati dei combattenti e delle forze armate.
La cerimonia ha ricordato anche il 108° anniversario della Battaglia del Monte San Michele, evento caratterizzato dal coraggio fino all’estremo sacrificio dei “Fucilieri Bianchi”, che ha portato all’assegnazione della Medaglia d’Oro al valore militare della guerra. Bandiera del 9° Reggimento di Fanteria. Durante il periodo di comando del colonnello Carbonetti, il reggimento svolse diverse attività addestrative ed operative sul territorio del Paese e all’estero.
Il Colonnello Mattia Scirocco diventa da oggi l’alfiere di guerra del 9° Reggimento Fanteria, insignito di 1 Croce di Cavaliere dell’Ordine Militare d’Italia, 1 Ordine di Cavaliere dell’Ordine Militare d’Italia, 2 Medaglie d’Oro al Valor Militare, 1 Medaglia d’Argento al Valor Militare , 1 Medaglia di Bronzo al Valor Militare , 1 Medaglia d’Argento al Valor Militare.
Al termine, il colonnello Svetozár Plesník, presidente dell’Associazione Ricordo dei Caduti di Milovice (A.R.Mi), ha consegnato la Croce commemorativa al Dott. Michele Dammicco C. Ammiraglio (c.a.), illustre membro dell’UNUCI, si è dedicato alla memoria dei caduti e al mantenimento della cooperazione tra Italia e Repubblica Ceca.
