Rezidence Velvyslanectví Turecké republiky v Praze

Vzhledem k tomu, že jsme téměř u konce tohoto velmi významného stoletého výročí založení naší republiky, s radostí vítáme i rok 2024, neboť v tomto nadcházejícím roce budeme slavit stoleté výročí navázání diplomatických vztahů mezi našimi dvěma velkými národy Türkiye a Česka v roce 1924.
Jako připomínku těchto významných událostí je pro nás velkým potěšením představit našim přátelům, jako jste vy, digitální PDF verzi nádherné knihy od bývalého hlavního kurátora Pražského hradu prof. Jaroslawa Sojky o budově Rezidence tureckého velvyslanectví, která bude v roce 2025 100 let.
Při přípravě této příručky jsme shromáždili mnoho méně známých faktů o našich bilaterálních vztazích a naší rezidenci, kterou budeme sdílet také s mnoha knihovnami v České republice a po celém světě.
Turecká vláda zakoupila tuto elegantní stavbu i s pozemkem, na kterém stojí v roce 1976, avšak ještě před tímto datem byla naše ambasáda již od 15. května 1944 nájemcem ve stejné budově.
Tato elegantní rezidence na Pevnostní ulici byla nejen domovem mnoha ikonických tureckých velvyslanců, ale také centrem turecké pohostinnosti pro naše vážené hosty.
Opět je velmi vzrušující přivítat a oslavit nový rok představením této nově vydané knihy, na které již více než dva roky pracuje velmi oddaný tým vedený a koordinovaný mou drahou manželkou Beyhan N. Bağış.
Jako vždy jsme hrdí na to, že Türkiye má vůli naše bilaterální vztahy a spolupráci ve všech oblastech ještě dále rozvíjet s naším přítelem a spojencem, Českou republikou.
Přejeme vám šťastný nový rok a krásné prázdniny. Děkujeme za vaše přátelství v roce 2023 a přijměte naše přání všeho nejlepšího do roku 2024.

As we are almost at the end of this very important centennial anniversary of the foundation of our Republic, we are also elated to be welcoming 2024, since this coming year we will be celebrating the centennial anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our two great nations of Türkiye and Czechia in 1924.
To commemorate these significant events, it is with great pleasure for us to present to our friends like yourself, the digital PDF version of an exquisite book authored by the former Chief Curator of the Prague Castle Prof. Jaroslaw Sojka about the Turkish Embassy Residence building which is going to be 100 years old in 2025.
We gathered many lesser-known facts about our bilateral relations and our Residence while preparing this reference book which will also be shared with many libraries in the Czech Republic and around the globe.
Turkish government purchased this elegant structure and the land on which it stands in 1976, however even prior to this date, our Embassy had already been a tenant in the same building since May 15th 1944.
This elegant Residence located on Pevnostní Street has not only been the home to many iconic Turkish Ambassadors, but also the center of Turkish hospitality for our esteemed guests.
Once again, it is very exciting to be welcoming and celebrating the new year by presenting this newly published book that a very dedicated team led and coordinated by my dear wife Beyhan N. Bağış has been working on for more than two years.
As always, we are proud of the fact that the Republic of Türkiye has the will to develop our bilateral relations and cooperation even further in all areas with our friend and ally, the Czech Republic.
We wish you a happy new year and a wonderful holiday season. Thank you for your friendship in 2023 and please accept our best wishes for 2024.
