Usedne Martin Šonka i do Kašparova Blériotu?

Pro naprostou většinu návštěvníků leteckých dnů je vždy vrcholem ukázek předvedení různých variací letecké akrobacie. Ta pochopitelně nebude chybět ani na dvaatřicátém ročníku Aviatické pouti, který se uskuteční o víkendu 1. a 2. června 2024 na pardubickém letišti. V programu letošního ročníku bude akrobatů hned několik a své místo mezi nimi bude mít i oblíbený Martin Šonka.
„Martin Šonka si svou akrobacií vždy získá přízeň diváků. Svědčí o tom nejen potlesk po vystoupení, ale i zástupy fanoušků čekajících na podpis, a to jak přímo u letadla, tak především na autogramiádách, které pořádáme v průběhu programu,“ říká Jan Rudzinskyj z organizačního štábu Aviatické pouti a pokračuje: „Martin Šonka patří k pravidelným účastníkům Aviatické pouti, a můžeme říci i k jejím stálicím. V průběhu posledních let se divákům představil již na několika typech letadel. Letos vystoupí na svém akrobatickém speciálu Extra 300SR a opět se také předvede na cvičném letadle Z-142C AF z pardubického Centra leteckého výcviku. V této organizaci působí již několik let jako instruktor při výcviku nových vojenských pilotů. S cvičným letadlem to bude trochu jiné, klidnější, pojetí akrobacie než na akrobatickém speciálu. Na něm nám předvede své oblíbené obraty, kdy si při některých z nich diváci zcela právem pokládají otázku, zda ještě platí zákony aerodynamiky. Vždy je to pěkná dynamická podívaná a jak znám Martina, jistě si pro letošní sezonu připraví i nějakou novinku. Máme se jistě na co těšit.
Pro letošní rok chceme připravit i trochu netradiční vystoupení Martina. Rádi bychom ho usadili do letadla, ve kterém zcela jistě nikdy neseděl, a to do Blériotu Ing. Jana Kašpara. Pochopitelně to nebude originál, ale replika postavená Václavem Vondráškem. Je to další Blériot, který v těchto dnech obohatil Letku Aviatické pouti. Tentokrát se jedná o repliku v podobě Kašparova letadla, se kterým v roce 1911 uskutečnil slavný přelet z Pardubic do Prahy. Jak jsme již před nedávnem oznámili, předchozí Blériot vyžaduje instalaci nového motoru, a ještě řadu další práce. Naproti tomu Kašparův Blériot již byl před řadou let zalétán. Od té doby uběhlo téměř patnáct let, během kterých již ale nelétal. Z toho důvodu si i tento kus vyžádá ještě nějaké pracovní úsilí a vyřízení potřebné legislativy. Uschopnit ho do letošní Aviatické pouti do letového stavu určitě nestihneme, ale pokud nenastanou nějaké potíže s oživením motoru, tak bychom rádi před diváky s Kašparovým Blériotem pojížděli, protože tento typ si své místo na pardubické Aviatické pouti právem zaslouží. Současně nás napadlo, že místo prvního českého aviatika by mohl zaujmout současný přední český pilot Martin Šonka a musím říci, že jsme ho nemuseli vůbec přemlouvat. Držte nám proto palce, ať se zprovoznění Kašparova Blériotu podaří a společně se budeme těšit na jedinečnou ukázku,“ dodává Jan Rudzinskyj.
Letový program bude v sobotu i v neděli trvat přes pět hodin, což je dost prostoru na množství ukázek na pardubickém nebi, ale k Aviatické pouti pravidelně patří i pestrý pozemní program s řadou prezentací a aktivitami pro děti i dospělé. Aviatická pouť je tradiční celodenní program pro celou rodinu.

Will Martin Šonka take the reins of Kašpar`s Blériot?
Vast majority of airshow visitors consider the aerobatics demonstrations the highlight of the show. Of course, it will be a part of 32nd edition of the Aviation Fair, which will take place on the weekend of June 1 and 2, 2024 at Pardubice Airport. There will be several such performances in the program this year, and popular Martin Šonka will be among them.
„Martin Šonka always wins the attention of the audience with his aerobatics. As evidenced not only by the applause after the performance, but also by the crowds of fans waiting for autographs, both directly at the plane and, above all, at the autograph sessions that we organize during the program,“ says Jan Rudzinskyj from the organizing staff of the Aviation Fair and continues: „Martin Šonka belongs to the regular participants of the Aviation Fair, and we can also say to its stars. In the recent years, he has already been performing for the audience on several aircraft types. This year, he will perform on his aerobatic special Extra 300SR and also on the Z-142C AF training aircraft from the Pardubice Aviation Training Center again. He has been working in this organization for several years now as an instructor responsible for the training of new military pilots. With a training plane, it will be a little different, calmer, concept of aerobatics compared to an aerobatic special. On it, he will show us his favorite maneouvers, with the audience quite rightly questioning whether the laws of aerodynamics are still valid. It’s always an amazingly dynamic spectacle, and knowing Martin, he will probably prepare something new for this season. We certainly have something to look forward to,“ adds Jan Rudzinskyj.
For this year however, we decided to put together a slightly unconventional performance by Martin. We would like to put him in a plane in which he has certainly never sat in, Ing. Jan Kašpar`s Blériot. It will not be the original, rather a replica built by Václav Vondrášek. It is one more Blériot joining the Aviation Fair Squadron these days. This time it is a replica in the form of Kašpar’s plane, with which he made the famous Pardubice to Prague flight in 1911. As we announced a while ago, the previous Blériot requires a new engine to be installed and a lots of other work. On the other hand, Kašpar’s Blériot was already flown many years ago. Almost fifteen years have passed since it has landed for the last time. For that reason, even this exhibit will require extensive work effort and paperwork to be done. We certainly won’t be able to get it in flying condition for this year’s Aviation Fair, but if there are no problems with engine maintenance, we would like to taxi Kašpar’s Blériot in front of the audience, because this airplane rightfully deserves its place on the Pardubice Aviation Fair. At the same time, we thought that the place of the first Czech aviator could be taken by none other than the current leading Czech pilot Martin Šonka, and I must say that it did not take too much to persuade him at all. Therefore, keep your fingers crossed for successful revival of Kašpar’s Blériot and together we will look forward to a unique demonstration,“ adds Jan Rudzinskyj.
The flight program is planned for over five hours on Saturday and Sunday, which is enough space for many performances in the skies of Pardubice, but the Aviation Fair also regularly includes a rich ground based program with a number of presentations and activities for children and adults. The Aviation Fair is a traditional all-day program for the whole family.
