NFM Choir and Berlin Philharmonic I Richard Strauss „Woman Without a Shadow“ I 1–14.04.2023

We proudly announce the cooperation of the NFM Choir with the Berlin Philharmonic. Under the baton of Kirill Petrenko, the artists will perform Richard Strauss’s Die Frau ohne Schatten during the Osterfestspiele in Baden-Baden and, in a concert version, at the Berlin Philharmonic.
The collaboration includes three opera performances and a concert performance. The performance in Baden-Baden recorded by 3Sat television will be available on April 15, followed by transmissions on Mezzo from April 21. The concert performance will be presented at the Berlin Philharmonic Digital Concert Hall. The collaboration with the Berlin Philharmonic is managed by TACT International Art Management.
This project is one of the highlights of the NFM Choir’s season. The collaboration of the NFM Choir with the Osterfestspiele in Baden-Baden and the Berlin Philharmonic is a unique opportunity for to perform with the preeminent artists of our time. It’s incredibly exciting and challenging at the same time. The complexity of Die Frau ohne Schatten and also its mysterious beauty, make the whole experience a big adventure for each of the singers.
