One of the most awaited summer events, Debrecziner Gourmet Festival starts this afternoon under the shady trees of the Great Forest. The festival is once again organised under the guidance of the Stylish Rural Gastronomy Association (SVÉT) that brings together Hungary’s high-class rural gastronomy, restaurants, and bistros, as well as stylish rural hotels and guesthouses, in addition to confectioners, artisan breweries and bakeries are part of the organisation to complete the unique culinary palette. The dishes of the 6th Debrecziner Gourmet Festival are inspired by the forest.

Debrecziner Gourmet Festival
The best of the Hungarian gastronomic world moves to Nagyerdő on the first weekend of July. The festival is once again organised under the guidance of the Stylish Rural Gastronomy Association (SVÉT).
Seven Towers – Dance Theatre Performance by the Danube Art Ensemble
In 1992, Imre Makovecz’s world-famous Hungarian Pavilion was built at the Seville Expo, and almost immediately became a national icon. The music for the pavilion was composed by Ferenc Kiss and became one of the emblematic works of the Hungarian world music scene. It was to this music and other successful compositions of the composer that the performance “The Seven Towers” was born.

Hortobágy Equestrian Days
After a two-year break, the Hortobágy Horse Riding Days will be held again this year, said the head of the project and marketing department of the Hortobágy Nature Conservation and Gene Preservation Nonprofit Ltd.

Campus Festival
With nine live music stages and six other music and dance venues, the Campus Festival, the most comfortable summer festival in Hungary, is the largest of its kind east of the Danube, offering a diverse programme of light music, cultural and artistic activities, leisure activities and experiences.

2nd Debrecen Festival, a Celebration of Musical Theatre
This summer, for the second time, the five-year-old Coopera will organise the Debrecen Festival summer programme series between 31st July and 15th August 2022.

Debrecen Wine And Jazz Days 2022
This year, between 4th and 7th August, wine lovers and jazz enthusiasts are invited to the greenery of the Nagyerdei Park, on the shores of Lake Békás.

Debrecen Flower Carnival
1,200 Hungarian dancers, 400 foreign carnival parade participants and around 500,000 live flowers will be at the Debrecen Flower Carnival, which will take place between 15th and 21st August this year.
